Shani Avni is a designer and an art director, offering comprehensive visual solutions since 2005.
She specializes in logo design and branding and works with businesses of all sizes around the world. Over the years she has devised a research-driven work process that results in custom made communicative and compelling visual systems.
Shani holds a BA in Graphic Design from the Shenkar College, Israel (2006) and an MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading, UK (2016).
On top of her design work, she is a design researcher. Her current research focuses on the David Hebrew typeface family. After completing her MA, Shani has been chosen for the 2017 Cary Collection Research Fellowship at the RIT, USA, where Davidís work is archived. She continues in an effort to make historical information available as both an academic and a practical source of reference.
